About Lara
Lara is a contemporary, intuitive painter, living and working on the South Ayrshire coast. Using mixed media on canvas, Lara's paintings are influenced by the surrounding Scottish coastlines - the ever changing energy between sea and land, and her connection to nature. Lara plays with colour and texture to create layers of curiosity and depth in each original painting, aiming to evoke a sense of oneness with the seascape and the self.
